Spotlight: Percussionists of the Sydney Symphony presented by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra tickets
About Spotlight: Percussionists of the Sydney Symphony
Bartók’s Sonata for Percussion and Two Pianos is full of rhythmic bite and stark contrasts between pounding drums and glassy piano textures.
In Steve Reich’s Sextet, patterns pulse and interlock, weaving in and out of each other to gradually transform into a stunning tapestry of sound.
This is a concert that invites you to listen closely, as percussion proves its remarkable ability to shape sound and atmosphere.
