About WAKE at Carriageworks

In Ireland, a wake is more than a farewell, it’s a celebration of life, where music, stories and laughter carry through the night.

WAKE brings that spirit to the stage in a contemporary spectacular by Dublin trailblazers THISISPOPBABY (RIOT, 2018). Featuring world-class Irish talent from pole and break dancers to aerial artists, poets and live musicians, it’s tradition reimagined with energy and heart.
