About New Breed 2025
Sydney Dance Company’s acclaimed New Breed program returns to Carriageworks this December. New Breed is renowned for presenting emerging choreographic talent and searing new ideas that forge contemporary dance of the future. This year the New Breed choreographers are Emma Fishwick, Ngaere Jenkins, Ryan Pearson and Harrison Ritchie-Jones.
New Breed is made possible through the extraordinary commitment of Principal Partner, The Balnaves Foundation, and co-presented with Carriageworks.

Directions
BY TRAIN: Carriageworks is easily accessible by train. Walk eight minutes from Redfern Station, ten minutes from Macdonaldtown Station or 15 minutes from Newtown Station.
BY BUS: Bus routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 370, 352 stop on City Road at Codrington Street, a five minute walk from Carriageworks.
BY BIKE: There are bike lanes on nearby streets and bike racks within the Carriageworks precinct.
BY CAR: Limited on-site parking is available at the end of Carriageworks Way. Enter via 229 Wilson Street
