About The Witches of Eastwick
Originally a 1984 novel by John Updike, the story was famously brought to the screen in the 1987 dark fantasy comedy film directed by George Miller, starring Jack Nicholson, Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Susan Sarandon.
In the sleepy New England town of Eastwick, three smart, sharp, and slightly supernatural divorcees find themselves trapped in the monotony of small-town life. Enter Darryl Van Horne — mysterious, magnetic, and unapologetically outrageous. Darkly funny, deliciously subversive, and packed with showstopping numbers, The Witches of Eastwick is a bewitching musical thrill ride — proving that sometimes, sisterhood is the strongest magic of all.
Neglected Musicals is a theatre initiative dedicated to presenting musical theatre that has never (or rarely) been seen in Australia. The musicals are presented with scripts in hand, and with piano accompaniment after only a day’s rehearsal.

Step-free access is available from the entrance to the foyer via lift, with auditorium entry via a side door for those unable to use stairs. Accessible seating is available in the front row, with options to remain in a wheelchair space or transfer to a seat. A hearing loop system is provided for compatible hearing aids. BY BUS: Catch the 311 bus from Railway Square or York Street near Wynyard Street. Drop off on Elizabeth Bay Road or Greenknowe Avenue.
BY TRAIN: Catch the train from the city to Kings Cross Station. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the theatre.
BY CAR: Discount parking is available from the Kings Cross Parking Station (entrance on Ward Avenue). Bring your parking ticket with you to the theatre and have it validated at the Box Office to receive discounted unlimited parking.
