About EMERALD CITY

Lately, critically acclaimed screenwriter Colin has had more box office bombs than smash-hit sensations. Persuading his wife Kate to swap the drizzly streets of Melbourne for the shimmering shores of Sydney, he sets out in pursuit of success. But the glitz and glamour of the Emerald City prove more seductive than he ever imagined. Power, influence, and harbour views are glittering at his fingertips — but what will he have to sacrifice?

Directed by Mark Kilmurry, this timeless satire from one of Australia’s most beloved social commentators explores ambition, rivalry and the personal cost of chasing the dream.
