In November 2023, Sydney Dance Company presents a never-before-seen season in their Neilson Studio, Up Close.
This intimate setting invites you to experience an unparalleled connection to Sydney Dance Company dancers, as you witness their formidable artistry and breathtaking physicality closer than ever before.
The first season of Up Close presents Somos, a new world premiere by Artistic Director, Rafael Bonachela. Meaning “we are” in Spanish, Somos will feature a cascade of intimate solos, duets and trios with a distinct Latin flavour.

GETTING TO THE VENUE
BY BUS: Hickson Road is serviced by the 324 and 325 bus service or the 311 to Millers Point.
WALK or CYCLE: Pedestrian and cycle paths service Walsh Bay Arts Precinct from Barangaroo to Circular Quay. It is a brisk 15-20 minute walk from Circular Quay and Wynyard transport hubs.
BY CAR: Metered parking is available on Hickson Road and paid off-street parking can be found at 26 Hickson Road (Interpark) and at the corner of Towns Place and Hickson Road (Wilsons).
