Ignited by the album that defined a generation, this Award winning musical is playing it's final week at Theatre Royal Sydney! Don't miss it!
This electrifying Tony and Grammy Award winning smash-hit musical is the joyful and redemptive story we need right now. Following a sold out premiere season in December, this is Sydney’s last chance to experience the electrifying musical ignited by the iconic multimillion dollar album that defined a generation. This life-changing production will make you jump out of your seat and remember what it’s like to feel truly human.
Jagged Little Pill tells the story of the Healys, the perfectly imperfect family. To the outside world they are the suburban ideal – a PTA mum who is always cheering on her kids, a busy lawyer dad providing the best for his family, a high achieving son who's just made valedictorian, and the artistic adopted daughter fighting for change in small town Connecticut. But nothing is as it seems.
Starring stage and screen icon Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Chicago), Tim Draxl (A Place to Call Home), and featuring beloved Alanis Morissette hits including ‘You Oughta Know’, ‘Head Over Feet’, ‘Hand In My Pocket’, and ‘Ironic’, Jagged Little Pill is the musical of the moment.
Nominated for an outstanding 15 Tony Awards® and Grammy® winner for Best Musical Theatre Album, this explosive production by Alanis Morissette and original story by Oscar Award winner Diablo Cody (Juno, Tully) is not to be missed.
