What to Watch For:
Did you know that Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf were first introduced to one another through musical theatre? They worked together in 1973 on the Vietnam War-themed musical More Than You Deserve at the Public Theater in New York.
In Bat Out of Hell there’s 19 Meat Loaf hits. Throughout one performance, the musicians use more than 1,000 pieces of sheet music - That’s a lot of notes!
If you’re a keen Meat Loaf fan, then you’ll love the two unreleased songs included in the show: “Not Allowed to Love” and “What Part of My Body Hurts the Most.”
Jim Steinman is a musical genius. As well as working on Meat Loaf songs, he’s also behind Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and Boyzone's "No Matter What".
