About Mrs. Doubtfire

A new musical comedy about the things we do to stay together... Daniel Hillard, a struggling, out-of-work actor, will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the kindly alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father. A hysterical and heartfelt story about holding onto your loved ones against all odds, Mrs. Doubtfire is the musical comedy we need right now — one that proves we’re better together.

Enchanting, Hilarious, Refreshing, Must see

See it if You’re looking to be entertained and to laugh. Being a fan of the film is not necessary. It stands on its own merit.

Don’t see it if You’re expecting Shakespeare. There’s nothing profound here, but you’re bound to have fun.

Delightful, Great acting, Funny, Great staging, Entertaining

See it if you appreciate: a demanding performance by McClure; a great representation of the Love is Love message; great choreography and orchestration

Don’t see it if you do not like fluffy musicals where you won't be humming the songs and that have parts that border on silly.

Absorbing, Masterful, Hilarious, Great singing, Great acting

See it if Into original film or have kids, good for family. Great value delivered. Could easily be phony or corny but wasn’t, due to immense talent!!

Don’t see it if You’re not into family drama, broad sketch, physical comedy; 2.5 hrs, some ballad in act 2 drops the energy. Choreography is amazing!!
