About Shamilton! The Improvised Hip-Hop Musical
Following sold-out runs at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe and 2026 San Francisco Sketchfest, legendary improv troupe Baby Wants Candy are bringing their hit musical parody to London for two weeks only this September.
Expect hip hop, incredible songs, powerhouse vocals and jaw-dropping choreography—except every moment is completely improvised.
Inspired by the international phenomenon, the all-star cast creates a brand-new hip hop musical from scratch every night based on a historical figure or celebrity chosen by the audience.
Every show is totally unique - it only happens in the room where it… you get the point. Book now!

Brilliantly Bonkers Improvised Musical Mayhem
Shamilton delivers a wildly entertaining improv experience that has audiences howling with laughter, as a supremely talented cast creates an entirely new Hamilton-style musical on the spot each night ...
What It Feels Like
- Joyfully absurd
- Cleverly chaotic
- Infectiously funny
You’ll Love This If…
- You enjoy quick-witted improv comedy and spontaneous creativity
- You appreciate musical theatre parody with audience participation
- You like unpredictable entertainment where no two shows are alike
Funny, bit the sounx tec was not ideal, especially at the beginning
The audience prompts were severely lacking, but the ingenuity, vocals and musical prowess of the cast and band more than made up for this. A great night out!
Loved the experience of seeing quality improv performed well by a truly talented cast. There's always a risk with improv that if they pick a topic you hate, you'll struggle to enjoy the show. But that element of danger is what makes these events all the more exciting. A great night!
