Don’t miss Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4, Park Theatre’s hit comedy fundraiser, returning to the stage in the unruly Wild West with a different, confused Sheriff at every performance. Book Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 tickets on TodayTix.
Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 is a play that takes place in Graveside. This dusty, musty frontier town has a serious missing-gold problem with strangers roaming the streets and townsfolk who are less than innocent, as well as one unpredictable Sheriff to make things right. Each night, a different celebrity guest takes up the mantle and the lead role of the Sheriff, with a catch: they are entirely unrehearsed, hearing their lines through an earpiece moments before they have to say them out loud.
The result is a brilliant, funny murder mystery. Announced celebrity guests include Benedict Cumberbatch, Gillian Anderson, Simon Pegg, Emma Thompson, Munya Chawawa, Hugh Bonneville, Jim Broadbent, Adrian Dunbar, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Alison Steadman, Liz Carr, Julian Clary, Kerry Ellis, Chris McCausland, and more! Celebrity line-ups are subject to change, but each performance promises a surprise new Sheriff to manage the town.

Whodunnit [Unrehearsed] 4 in London is the latest edition of Park Theatre’s celebrity-led fundraising play series, written by Jez Bond and Mark Cameron, and directed by Jez Bond. This time around, the mystery moves away from a classic detective narrative into the chaos of frontier life, with the fictional town of Graveside spanning the theatre.
The production features a slew of actors, musicians, as well as Sir Ian McKellen returning to provide his voice work. The supporting cast includes Toby Baddeley as Buck Steed, Caroline Deverill as Dawn Frencham, Gabriel Fogarty-Graveson as Jim Ranson, Iona Fraser as Verity Hargreaves, Edward Kaye as James Early, Ian Oakley as Willy the Pianist, Matthew Romain as Rev. Virgil, and Susanna Wolff as Meg Frencham.
For 2026, the experience is larger-than-life. This production raises funds for Park Theatre, supporting its building, new work, and community and educational programmes.
