Broken Glass in London is a play about what holding everything deep inside can do to an individual. As Sylvia’s paralysis deepens, the story does too, not just into her symptoms but the life she has been living.

Premiering in 1994, the play later won the Olivier Award for Play of the Year. It is a show that feels startlingly contemporary, showing how world events can impact our minds and bodies, as well as the stories we tell to ourselves. Jordan Fein stages this incredible drama with urgency, as it plays both a period piece and a mirror held up to our present.
