Together, they tell the story of Euripides' classic tragedy in a whole new way. The Bacchae aren't about to let the men have all the fun, and all of Thebes needs to prepare for these stage-storming women. At the same time, their god Dionysos is participating in his family's Olympics, and he strives to show he is much more than just the god of rhyme, wine, and fun. This groundbreaking new production expertly balances rhyme, spoken word, movement, and music to transport audiences to Thebes.
