It's Elizabethan England, and tensions run high as the people are polarized and living within an oppressive police state. In the back of a pub, Christopher Marlowe and William Shakespeare attempt to collaborate on a historical play. As two of the best writers of their time, they could create a masterpiece if only they could stop bickering, outwitting one another, and flirting.
This production stars Ncuti Gatwa (BBC's Doctor Who, Sex Education) as Kit Marlowe and Edward Bluemel (Killing Eve, My Lady Jane) as Will Shakespeare.

As the Broadway World review said, "Born With Teeth isn't concerned with what actually happened. It's what could have happened that's all the more interesting. Shakespeare and Marlowe could have been begrudged collaborators or they could have been sworn enemies. Born With Teeth isn't showing truth. It's making us the fly on the wall for the most intriguing possibility."
