The exceptional creative team also includes director Bijan Sheibani (Sons of the Prophet), set and costume designer Samal Blak (Castle of Joy), lighting designer Paule Constable (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), choreographer and movement director by Aline David (Three Sisters), sound designer Gareth Fry (A Christmas Carol), revival director Elin Schofield (Dear England), fight director Kev McCurdy (Manhunt), intimacy coordinator Asha Jennings-Grant (Smoke), and casting director Juliet Horsley (Retrograde).
In a statement, Beth Steel said, "I began the play as writer-in-residence at the National Theatre's New Work Department, a career-changing attachment that gave me the space and support needed to bring it into being, and it was an honor to watch Bijan Sheibani and the wider team unleash it!
