See Oscar and BAFTA award nominee Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) in the lead role of Jessica Parks, a successful London Crown Court Judge who expertly balances her personal life as a wife and mother and her professional life. When an event threatens to shake her perfectly balanced life, what can she do?
Pike will be on stage alone during the court scenes, but cast members Jamie Glover (Waterloo Road) and Jasper Talbot (Redlands) will be present during the family scenes.
Pike explained, “I have to create that courtroom for the audience: the jury, the witnesses, the barristers – all that.”

Very relevant storyline, educational, impact, gripping, best thing I've seen onstage in a while
Obviously Rosamund Pike is a legend. An actress extraordinaire. But this play has zero plot, zero energy, zero anything. The final 10 minutes were enthralling! Imagine that, a play about a high court judge caught between her fight for justice and defending her pathetic son! A play about her defending the one whilst picking up the pieces of the other. Instead, we got 75 minutes of Pike massaging the feelings of the patriarchy in the audienc before announcing "good boys also do bad things... Gasp!". Don't go see this play, it's boring as fuck. If you want some proper Pike, watch episode one of Wheel of Time. At least the boys are obviously assholes from the beginning, and Pike doesn't fuck around in telling them that. Ugh.

Inter Alia in London is written by Suzie Miller, who has written more than 40 plays over the course of her career, including Prima Facie, in which she earned an Olivier Award for Best New Play. This production is directed by Justin Martin (Kyoto, The Fear of 13, Prima Facie). Inter Alia reunites Miller and Martin after their success with Prima Facie.
Inter Alia is a play with an expert creative team, including costume design by Miriam Buether, lighting design by Natasha Chivers, movement and intimacy direction by Lucy Hind, sound design by Ben and Max Ringham, composition by Erin LeCount and James Jacob, video design by Willie Williams for Treatment Studio, and voice coaching by William Conacher.
This production will be professionally recorded for cinema release in the UK on 4 September and global release on 25 September.
