About The Baker's Wife

Don't miss the first major UK revival of The Baker's Wife since its West End premiere in 1989. Book The Baker's Wife tickets on TodayTix.

See Olivier award-winning actor Clive Rowe (Sister Act, Guys and Dolls) and WhatsOnStage award-winning actress Lucie Jones (Wicked, Waitress) take the stage in this musical revival alongside an exceptional cast including Mark Extance (Don Juan in Soho), Josefina Gabrielle (Oklahoma!), Jack Gardner (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Robyn Rose (Tammy Faye), Michael Matus (King Lear), Norman Pace (Hairspray), David Seadon-Young (An American in Paris), Matthew Seadon-Young (Beautiful - The Carole King Musical), Joaquin Pedro Valdes (Heathers), and Finty Williams (Macbeth).

Together, the ensemble tells the story of a provincial French village in 1935 without a baker. Finally, peace is restored when a new baker and his wife come to town. However, it's not all smooth sailing when a young man lures the baker's wife away, upsetting the baker so much that he stops working. The townspeople take it upon themselves to try to reunite the baker and his wife.
