Cady Heron moves from the African savanna to America, only to encounter a new kind of wilderness: high school. Thrown into the jungle of teenage politics, can she navigate the terrifying world of teenage cliques?
Eager to climb the popularity ladder, Cady sets her sights on The Plastics, a trio of popular girls ruled by the charismatic yet ruthless Regina George. But as she becomes entangled in a web of drama and secrets, she learns that taking on the Queen Bee has consequences.
Mean Girls is adapted to the stage by an award-winning creative team, including director Casey Nicholaw (Aladdin, The Book of Mormon), composer Jeff Richmond (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), lyricist Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde), and book writer Tina Fey (30 Rock, Bossypants).
