About Much Ado About Nothing - Globe

See Shakespeare's words come to life this summer as the beloved comedy Much Ado About Nothing takes the stage at the Globe Theatre in an exciting new production. Book Much Ado About Nothing tickets on TodayTix.

Much Ado About Nothing in London stars Ekow Quartey (Harry Potter, Breeders) and Amalia Vitale (Big Mood, Beyond Paradise) as the verbally sparring, eventual couple Benedick and Beatrice. The talented cast also includes Lydia Fleming (Mary & George) as Hero, Adam Wadsworth (My Phone Genie) as Claudio, Ryan Donaldson (Owners) as Don Pedro, and Robert Mountford (Burnt at the Stake) as Don Jon.

The play tells the story of Count Claudio falling in love with Hero, but that's not the only love story. Hero's cousin Beatrice and Claudio's friend Benedick, both determined to be single, are brought together through conspiring friends, family, and lots of humor. Shakespeare's timeless classic is still relevant today as it was hundreds of years ago, exploring themes of honour, reputation, deception, and love.

What to watch for
