Theatre Horizon is a professional nonprofit theatre company headquartered in the county seat of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania: Norristown. Theatre Horizon produces challenging dramas and inspiring and memorable musicals. The company has also created and presented original works, and has an extensive education program that reaches hundreds of students in our region.
About Theatre Horizon
Theatre Horizon was founded in 2005 by King of Prussia Residents Erin Reilly and Mathew Decker and has become a lauded contributor to the arts community in Montgomery County, annually staging a 3-show season, reaching hundreds of children through drama classes, and pioneering an autism drama program that uses actors to teach socialization skills to children with autism. Since its inception, Theatre Horizon has produced critically-acclaimed productions that fulfill its mission of connecting audiences and students with professional theatre artists through relevant and compelling theatre. Theatre Horizon’s productions feature award winning professional actors and designers from Philadelphia and New York. Theatre Horizon partnered with private developer 401 DeKalb Associates and the Borough of Norristown to transform sections of the former Bell Telephone building at 401 DeKalb Street into a permanent home for Theatre Horizon. The renovated building includes a welcoming first-floor lobby with flexibility to host classes and special events, office space, and a 120-seat performance venue.

Transportation & Parking
The theater recommends that patrons park in the county lot on East Airy Street (State Rte 3009) and DeKalb Street, which contains 100 spaces. There is also a parking lot on Penn Street which contains 25 spaces. Both are free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. All street parking in Norristown is free after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends.
