Planes, Trains, and ???: The Unauthorized Improv and Musical Parody Tickets

Relive the chaos of holiday travel with a hilarious twist in this improv musical parody.
Three people sit against a dark wall; the two on either side appear to be dozing off while the person in the center looks upward with an exasperated expression.
Three actors perform on stage, gesturing expressively, in front of an audience. Black curtains and simple props set the scene for the performance.
Two men sit closely together on stage; one in a suit, the other in a vest and plaid pants, both leaning on each other with eyes closed, seated atop a trunk decorated with stickers.

About Planes, Trains, and ???: The Unauthorized Improv and Musical Parody

The ’80s are back—and so are your worst holiday travel nightmares!

Planes, Trains, and ???: The Unauthorized Improv and Musical Parody is an homage to John Hughes’ classic holiday travel nightmare film. Set in 1987 (because nearly all of their problems would have been solved with a smartphone), the show features three actors: Martin Garcia (as Neal Page), Frank Caeti (as Del Griffith), and Amanda Blake Davis (as everyone else).

Fueled by ’80s songs with lyrics “Weird Al-ed” to fit the ridiculous odyssey and audience suggestions, each performance changes the “???” in the title, the city where they’re stranded, and even Del’s bizarre merchandise. Planes, Trains, and ??? is an evening of nostalgia, surprise, and belly laughs for fans of the original film, improv comedy lovers, and anyone who’s ever had their holiday plans go hilariously off the rails.
