A tribute to Romani jazz guitar pioneer Django Reinhardt.
One of the greatest guitar players of all time, Django Reinhardt introduced to the world his new style of “gypsy jazz” in the 1930s and ‘40s is considered one of the greatest guitar players of all time. “Django’s Gypsy Jazz” celebrates the traditions of French jazz manouche and showcases contemporary interpretations, arrangements, and compositions. Joining Schmitt and sons on stage are cousins Fancko Mehrstein and Gino Roman on rhythm.
