State of Play Festival: David Harvey and Babatunji - Chimera Tickets

Chimera explores the many identities of one body - how they emerge through behavior relationship, and embodiment. This dance work employs a sensitive physical language that combines care, wildness, intimacy, and enthusiasm, and centers on a duet between two men. The use of video design describes the often unseen implications of how relationships reveal hidden aspects of one’s own identity.

Chimera contemplates the outlines of the self–their mutability, permeability, and how they overlap within the infinite undulating of context, environment, and relationship.
