London and New York City each have their own charms. While the Brits boast a longer history complete with castles and funny-hatted guards, New York’s bright city lights and sky-hugging buildings provide a different kind of urban buzz. When it comes to theater, both have some of the best shows and talent to offer, but there are key differences to consider when deciding where to go. Between prices and location, Broadway and the West End offer top-notch live entertainment experiences. They do have some things in common though. For instance, no matter where you go, you can see The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, or The Lion King.
