Founded in 1982, Huntington Theatre Company has since won the 2013 Regional Theatre Tony Award. The company has had 16 productions transfer to New York, including the Pulitzer finalist Sons of the Prophet and eight of August Wilson's plays. The Boston complex includes four performance spaces, the largest being the 360-seat Virginia Wimberly Theatre.
