The professional theatre division of Emerson College in Boston, ArtsEmerson produces contemporary shows by playwrights from all around the world. The company was founded in 2010, and Boston Magazine has since named it Boston’s Best Theater twice: in 2012 and 2015. ArtsEmerson is based at the Emerson Paramount Center, which includes two performance spaces, the Robert J. Orchard Stage and the Jackie Libergott Black Box, as well as the Bright Family Screening Room.
