Two understudies and their Stage Manager must step in when a production of Romeo & Juliet goes horribly wrong. Chaos ensues as props go missing, cues are missed and the jaded lead actress keeps arguing how the work of a dead, white writer is no longer relevant. But the show must go on - will these young performers resolve their offstage drama and present the greatest love story of all time?
With a cast of three taking on nearly twenty characters, this is a metatheatrical satire on the underappreciation of arts in our world. Devised entirely by a team emerging artists and theatre-makers, this show debuted in Sydney to rave reviews and will be making a return in Adelaide!

The Mill has two entrances, the main entrance on the corner of Angas and Gunson Street and an accessible entrance further down Angas Street. Unfortunately, the main entrance is not accessible, as it has a small step from the pavement.
"Fun and chaotic, Unfair Verona is a play within a play. We see both on-stage and off-stage politics colliding, as two amateur actors meet an overly-anxious stage manager eager to play lead. At times the proceedings are true to the original story, spouting Shakespearean English and telling the tragedy of Juliet and her Romeo. Next minute, they’ve thrown in some Britney Spears classics and PowerPoint presentations. The end result is a truly tasty mix." - The AU Review.com
