Fresh to Def: Fashion, Legacy, & The Culture

Produced in partnership with The Great 8 and the Hip-Hop Education Center, Fresh to Def explores the enduring influence of hip-hop fashion and beauty inspired by CrazySexyCool. The evening begins with a fashion show highlighting the styles, creativity, and cultural impact that defined an era, followed by a panel discussion with Tony Award-winning hair and wig designer Nikiya Mathis, who will share insights into the artistry of bringing iconic looks to the stage. Come dressed in your best ’90s-inspired attire and join us for an unforgettable evening honoring the music, fashion, and culture that continue to inspire generations!
