As well as performing solo concerts all over America and the world for almost forty years, Rita has been a successful and award-winning actress, screenwriter and best-selling author of six books. In 2001, the MGM Corporation built Rita her own theatre on the Las Vegas Strip and Rita still holds the record for the most tickets sold by a female comedian in the history of that town.
