About The Winter's Tale
from the play by William Shakespeare adapted by Eric Ting & Philippa Kelly
After a long year, Cal Shakes welcomes audiences back to the Bruns with a sparkling new adaptation of The Winter’s Tale—Shakespeare’s exquisite reflection of our current moment. A story split between tragedy and comedy, between loss and healing, it’s the hope we need.
Join us for a winter’s tale that winds an extraordinary path from rage to redemption, resurrection to reconciliation, in a love letter to the live theater. We’ve missed you. Welcome back.
