Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Stephen Sondheim's musical follows a wrongly imprisoned barber who returns to Victorian London for revenge, aided by a pie-shop owner with grim plans of her own. It won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, at its 1979 Broadway debut, and returned in a Thomas Kail-directed revival starring Josh Groban and Annaleigh Ashford in 2023.

Jonathan Larson's Tony- and Pulitzer-winning musical follows a year in New York's East Village, where young artists build lives and hold onto each other under the shadow of HIV/AIDS, scored to "Seasons of Love" and "La Vie Bohème." It won four Tony Awards, including Best Musical, at its 1996 Broadway debut.
Life of Pi
Lolita Chakrabarti's stage adaptation of Yann Martel's novel follows Pi Patel, shipwrecked and adrift with a hyena, an orangutan, a zebra, and a Bengal tiger. It won five Olivier Awards, including a Best Supporting Actor win for the tiger's puppeteers, and three Tony Awards for its design.
