About Merrick Watts: An Idiot's Guide to Wine - Volume Two
Mez toured his smash-hit show An Idiot’s Guide to Wine: Volume 1 around Australia and overseas in 2022/3 to sold out houses and critical acclaim at festivals, wineries, and comedy clubs alike, including a completely sold out run at the Rechabite.
He’s back in 2024 with a brand-new show, showcasing different grape varietals from awesome wine makers with new jokes, stories and food pairings to match.
Each audience member tastes six wines during the show and may accidentally learn something along the way.
This is the perfect way to start your evening or get in early have some wines and get to bed by 8:30pm, your choice!

Accessibility
Accessible entry is via William Street in the alcove. Once inside, the lift can be found to the left of the accessible entry. All four levels are accessible by lift. Please note that in the main hall, the upper balconies are only accessible via stairs. Elevator internal dimensions: 1.26m(D) x 1.41m(W) x 2.17m(H). Unisex accessible bathrooms can be found on the basement level and are accessible via lift and stairs.
