Based on her unbelievable true story, trace the master of reinvention’s transformation from Irish lass Eliza James to Spanish dancer Lola Montez as she courted kings and controversies across Europe and in the goldfields of Ballarat and Bendigo.
Acclaimed soprano Nina Korbe embodies the legendary showgirl in a new opera by composer Joe Chindamo and writer Peter Tregear. Experience this stripped-back first look and listen directed by Stuart Maunder and conducted by Phoebe Briggs.
