About RISING: RED - Dancenorth Australia

Time is running out.

A fiery duo collide and glide inside a giant sealed-off dome in this parable of reciprocal need from Dancenorth Australia.

As air empties from a massive translucent world, its inhabitants twist together and apart, their elastic vitality, shrink-wrapped before our eyes.

Epic and intimate, RED transforms a contracting stage into an allegory for a planet under pressure, where biodiversity is being suffocated and humanity must fight to preserve itself.

RED is part of the inaugural Australian Dance Biennale, curated and hosted by RISING.
