Jimmy McGhie has performed stand-up all over the world and is now a top circuit act in the UK, as well as a highly sought after corporate awards host and TV warm up artist. He has appeared on numerous television and radio programs including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, Comedy Central, ABC Australia, THREE New Zealand, Absolute Radio and regularly provides the studio warm up for BBC1’s Graham Norton Show, ITV’s Loose Women and Channel 4’s Deal or No Deal.
Laura Lexx is a comedian, author and actor, with over 10 years in stand-up under her belt and two published books. She was a finalist in the Amused Moose Comedy Awards at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, in 2018 won Best Performer in the Comedian's Choice Awards and was in the top 10 of the Funniest Joke of the Fringe at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and won the Comedians' Choice award at the 2019 Chortle Awards. Her television appearances have included Roast Battle, Hypothetical, Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week.
William Wang, known for his sharp observational humour and distinctive delivery, has been performing stand-up comedy since 2018 and has become a regular on the Australian comedy circuit. His comedy is clean yet edgy, blending quirkiness with a fresh perspective and confidence to the stage. Drawing from his immigrant experience, he hilariously unpacks cultural differences, everyday struggles and the absurdities of life in Australia.

The Capitol is an approximately five-minute walk from Flinders Street Train Station or Melbourne Central Station.

BY BUS:
Take the 216 or 219 bus from Queen street in the city on the southeast corner of Queen and Collins Streets. There is a stop directly outside Rippon Lea Estate. – Make sure to ask the driver to set you down at the first stop after Glen Eira Road. The trip, by bus will take 30 – 45 minutes.
BY CAR:
The closest car parking is situated at the Westin Hotel on Collins (entry via Flinders Lane). Other carparks are located within the CBD.
Some metered and/or timed parking spaces are located on Russell, Exhibition and surrounding streets.
