Centred around the making of his 1992 Dangerous World Tour, MJ the Musical goes beyond the singular moves and signature sound of the star, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted Jackson into legendary status.
Created by Tony Award®-winning Director/Choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, MJ the Musical is Startin’ Somethin’ in Melbourne from 9 September 2025.
Pre-sale access is available now until Mon 2 June 9am AEST. Early bird pricing is available on midweek and Sunday eve performances between 7 Oct and 2 Nov, during the pre-sale period. Wheelchair access is via the left most doors of the main theatre entrance on Exhibition Street. As there is no lift at HMT we strongly recommend that any patrons with mobility concerns purchase tickets in the Stalls.
Her Majesty’s Theatre is a fully licensed venue. All patrons under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Entry to the auditorium requires both the minor and accompanying adult to hold valid tickets.
