Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic about pleasure and pain brought the genre out of the slasher era and into the realm of emotionally complex dread. There’s a family with secrets. A mystical puzzle box. And a hell-bound group of sadomasochistic beings threatening to break free.
For Hear My Eyes, Hellraiser is sent into a freshly spiked iron casket—with a live rescore by Chicago’s bringer of ‘rhythmic cubism’, Hieroglyphic Being aka Jamal Moss. He’s a man known for his intense, physical psychedelic music, who takes his cues from house, industrial, avant-jazz and noise. And he’s composing alongside Robin Fox (MONOCHORD, RISING 2022) who, in a Hear My Eyes first, is also bringing his epic lasers to break through into sensory overload.
One for EBM heads and Pinheads, alike.
Hellraiser is rated R 18+ and is a gory horror. It is restricted to those over the age of 18.

“It was truly, so incredible… the score and the songs [Teether and Big Yawn] came up with… I’m like ‘when is this being pressed onto vinyl? When can I buy this and listen to it again?’” — BRODIE LANCASTER, SEE ALSO PODCAST ON HEAR MY EYES: GOOD TIME, RISING 2023
