Ryan & Corey live on two opposite ends of the high school spectrum – the rehearsal room and the footy oval. Together they are tasked with building the set for their high school's musical. Is co-existence possible or will all hell break loose?
Equal parts a celebration and satire, In the Wings is a new play by up-and-coming creatives Charlie Veitch and Rex Cameron that explores the importance of community, belonging and doing what you love. It's mainly humorous though. Humorous and witty and relatable. It just has a big beating heart at the centre of it.
So, whether you're a seasoned high school thespian or an outsider confounded by the appeal of this strange, often cringe inducing world, please come along and discover what's really going on...in the wings.
