About Crone Creed
Crone Creed follows Vita, born to an ancient creed that takes an oath to help humanity heal itself from the corruption of religion and the ruling elite. Her journey takes her throughout history, dealing with societies’ malfeasance instigated by the Fallen, a dark faction with powers akin to hers, and its chief recruit: her brother, Yanni.
Spanning centuries and eras, the play breathes new life into the traditional concept of a "crone," reimagining them as powerful, time-traveling mythical witches who act as the silent guardians of human destiny. Vita’s cross-era crusade forces her into an ultimate showdown against the dark forces pulling the strings behind history's greatest tragedies.
Crone Creed, which is part of the El Portal Theatre’s 100th Anniversary Season, is presented by Theater4All. The world premiere drama is written by John Epstein, Casey Morgan, and T. Theresa Scarano, and directed by award-winning film director Marc Morgenstern.
