About The Verdi Chorus presents Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana
The Verdi Chorus’ 40th Anniversary season continues with its first opera, Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana for one performance only at the First Presbyterian Church in Santa Monica on January 20, 2024. The performance will be followed by a wine and dessert reception featuring The Fox Singers, an auxillary group of the Verdi Chorus, singing Italian favorites.

Cavalleria Rusticana will star award-winning mezzo soprano Audrey Babcock, tenor Todd Wilander, who comes to the production direct from the Metropolitan Opera, and renowned baritone Roberto Perlas Gómez.
