In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating some iconic women from across the cultural landscape who are making a difference in the arts and the world. Playwright, director, and filmmaker Young Jean Lee has been called “the most adventurous downtown playwright of her generation” by the “The New York Times.” This summer, she’ll become the first Asian-American female playwright to be produced on Broadway when her play “Straight White Men” starts performances at the Helen Hayes Theatre on June 29.

Watch the video to learn more about Lee’s success and influence, and get inspired to check out some great female-led shows on TodayTix.com.
