After months of anticipation, it’s finally, really happening. Pass Over, which became the first new play to open on Broadway last month, was joined last week by the reopenings of Waitress and Hadestown, the first musicals to reopen post-shutdown. With more openings and reopenings slated for every coming week, it’s clear: Broadway is back and bustling.

It’s a moment worth documenting, and many already have. Broadway stars have taken to social media to share their excitement for the grand reopening of Broadway. They’ve posted rehearsal photos, celebrations of show openings, and general shouts of excitement for theatre’s return. In case you’ve missed any, we’ve rounded up some of the joyous social posts by Broadway talent proving, with photographic evidence, that theatre is live and thriving again.
