Young Vic
About Young Vic
The Young Vic was designed by Bill Howell and was originally intended to last only five years. Almost 50 years later, the Young Vic thankfully outlived and exceeded it's expectations and became an important piece of the London theatre scene. Through the years it played host to iconic productions, stars of stage and screen and developed numerous artists. Between 2004-2006, the theatre underwent extensive refurbishment, and reopened in 2006. Now, the Young Vic is still a thriving venue, supporting new artists, creatives and innovative theatre in London.
