The Girls is a great new musical, based on the true story of a group of Yorkshire’s Women’s Institute members, who created a nude calendar in order to raise money for a Leukaemia charity. It was later made into the huge hit movie Calendar Girls, starring Julie Walters, Helen Mirren and Celia Imrie, and now it’s hitting the West End.

If you’re dying to see The Girls, check out composer Gary Barlow singing “Sunflower” in the recording studio with the rest of the cast.

Gary is joined by the wonderful cast members: Joanna RidingClaire Moore, Debbie Chazen, Claire Machin, Shirley Jameson and Michele Dotrice. “Sunflower” is a catchy and upbeat song that perfectly demonstrates the power of these women’s voices and spirits.

This is guaranteed to be a show that will leave you with a huge grin on your face. Also, have you ever seen someone so happy to be recording a track as Claire Moore?

The Girls is now playing at the Phoenix Theatre and you can book tickets now with no booking fee for a limited time only!
