Sometimes we’re lucky and get a Broadway transfer. Other times, all we have is a cast recording to tide us over. Here are the shows we’re currently dying to get a West End transfer or that we’ve got tickets for but have to wait like a year to see.

It’s always exciting to give someone their very first theatre experience. Whether it’s their first time stepping foot in a theatre, taking them to see a play when they only go to musicals or introducing them to your favourite show, it can be a really special treat.

The underlying premise of why musicals exist is that characters turn to song when their feelings go beyond just talking. Sometimes that happens in real life; when words aren’t enough and you would love to be able to burst into song. Maybe with a dance number. And glitter.
