An American In Paris star Zoe Rainey has decided to give herself a bit of a challenge. She’s training to go on pointe. If you’re unfamiliar with ballet or the term, it means to be able to dance and move on the point of your toes. Ouch.

If you haven’t been dancing ballet since you were born it can be an incredibly tough thing to train for, but Zoe’s in a really unique position. While starring as Milo Davenport in An American In Paris, Zoe decided that she’d never be in better company to learn a new skill and to push herself.

Surrounded by disciplined and talented dancers, Zoe’s taking private lessons to learn how to go on pointe. Check out our interview with her as we take a peek inside her dressing room and the training room at the Dominion Theatre. A full video of her journey is coming in December, so if you’ve ever considered taking on a new challenge, take a look at Zoe’s experience.

You can see Zoe in An American In Paris with £20 Rush tickets, download the TodayTix app and buy at 10am every performance day.
