Lulu Joins the Cast of ’42nd Street’!

The one and only Lulu will join the cast of 42nd Street in a limited run from 19 March! The Scottish powerhouse singer will join the show in the role of Dorothy Brock, previously played by Sheena Easton, after a 30 year break from the West End.
Audiences will mostly be familiar will Lulu from her pop career with standout hits like ‘Shout’ and collaborations with David Bowie, The Beatles and more. In addition to music, Lulus other great love is acting. Starting at 16 in the Sidney Poitier film ‘To Sir, With love’, she has appeared on stage in productions of Guys & Dolls and famously played herself in the TV and movie of Absolutely Fabulous, with Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley.
Fans of An American In Paris will also be excited to learn that Ashley Day will be joining the cast as Billy Lawlor! He previously played the role of Jerry Mulligan in the recent run of the Gershwin musical, and was also in West End productions of The Book of Mormon and The Wizard of Oz.
