The January Blues can make the first few weeks of the New Year feel like a real drag.

Spending time with friends and family, getting proper sleep and eating well can be easy first steps to pulling yourself back into a normal routine. However, being the stagey people we are, we have our own tried and tested solution to beating the January Blues.

Here are a few of London theatre’s best comedies and feel-good shows that will lift you up, make you giggle and prove that sometimes, laughter is the best medicine.

Kinky Boots

When life’s a drag, join in! Kinky Boots follows Charlie’s journey to begin producing high-heeled boots for drag queens instead of traditional shoes in his family’s factory. It’s got plenty of laughs, fantastic music and a great message of love and acceptance. You can also see it from the Front Row with our exclusive ticket Lottery!

Young Frankenstein

Based on Mel Brook’s hilarious 70s comedy, Victor Frankenstein must confront his ancestor’s legacy of raising the dead when he gives it a try himself. Young Frankenstein is riotous, naughty and will have you laughing all the way home. You can also try your luck in our £20 ticket Lottery!

Motown The Musical

Featuring the hits you love from 60s icons, Motown The Musical sees record producer Berry Gordon build an empire and make stars out of The Jackson Five, Diana Ross and The Supremes and Stevie Wonder. Londoners love this feel-good favourite and it could be just the show to have you Dancing In The Street! Rush tickets are also available for every performance for just £25.

Mamma Mia!

Sophie is about to get married but she’s desperate to know the truth about her father before she says ‘I do’. Inviting three potential candidates to her town, Sophie puts her mother in hot water when she has to confront her past to help Sophie with her future. Take a trip to a Greek island and enjoy the iconic songs of ABBA with the international hit Mamma Mia!

Five Guys Named Moe
