About Barrington Stage Company, Boyd-Quinson Mainstage
The Boyd-Quinson Mainstage is a completely renovated 520-seat, state-of- the art theatre. In July 2005, BSC purchased a 1912 vaudeville theatre in downtown Pittsfield. (In its first 11 years, BSC operated from rented space at the Consolati Performing Arts Center at Mount Everett High School in Sheffield). In January 2006, BSC began renovations and by June 2007, BSC opened its doors in Pittsfield. Venue is air-conditioned and wheelchair accessible. Venue has an assistive hearing system.

Transportation & Parking
From Boston/Points East Mass. Turnpike (I-90) west to Exit 2 in Lee, MA. Follow US 20 West toward Lenox/Pittsfield for approx. 5 miles, merge onto Route 7 North. Continue on 7 North into Pittsfield (see parking map below). From New York City Saw Mill River Parkway to Taconic Parkway to exit for Rt. 295/Chatham/E. Chatham. Follow NY 295 East for approx. 12miles, turn left onto MA Rt. 41 North. Turn right onto US Rt. 20 East (W. Housatonic St.) and follow into Pittsfield (see parking map below). From Albany/Points West I-90 East to exit 11E (9 South/ 20 East exit toward Nassau). Follow 20 East Columbia Turnpike approx. 28 miles east into Pittsfield (see parking map below).
