Vienna 1785. The trailblazing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and fiery young virtuoso Ludwig van Beethoven are inspired by the sound of the new-fangled clarinet. Musica Viva Australia invites you to travel back in time with early music specialists Nicola Boud, Simon Cobcroft and Erin Helyard to discover Mozart and Beethoven’s spirit of invention as they perform much-loved classics as if for the first time.

There are lifts on both the Grey St side of the building as well as the South Bank entrance. The venue prefer if we have notice for accessible seating in the Conservatorium stalls so they can ensure the patrons have the best possible experience.

BY BUS: Brisbane city buses stop at Merivale Street, Grey Street and Melbourne Street.

BY TRAIN: The South Brisbane railway station is diagonally opposite Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University.

BY FERRY: Both the Cross River Ferry and the CityCat terminals are located on South Bank's Clem Jones Promenade.

BY CAR: Queensland Conservatorium at Griffith University is central to all paid parking facilities offered in South Bank.
